The World Series of Poker has finally crossed the Atlantic in the form of the WSOPE, official WSOP events taking place in three separate London Clubs International casinos over eleven days. No longer will Europeans have to hit Las Vegas to pick up WSOP gold.

The complete schedule of events won't be out until May (and we will have them up as soon as they are out) there are already three events on tap for September. The very first WSOP Europe event will be a £2,500 H.O.R.S.E. event taking place at the brand new Leicester Square casino (which itself won't open until April.)

A £5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event comes next, followed by a £10,000 No-Limit Texas Hold'em tourney. These events will take place at the Sportsman and Filly casinos, all part of London Clubs International (www.lciclubs.com).
