Poker Room is in the middle range when it comes to traffic, but a lot of the traffic is soft competition. Hold'em is the game of choice, and there are a lot of Hold'em games running all the time, but there are few of other types. Over all a great site with great service.

Limits and Rake
Limits at Poker Room range from $0.25/$0.50 on up to $50/$100 in some games, but most of the action seems centered in the range of $1/$2 to $25/$50. The rakes are industry standard, except  Poker Room calculates them based on number of players differently than other sites. Where most rooms count 1-3, 4-5, and 6 and up players when determining rake amount, Poker Room counts 2-4,5-7, and 8 and up; the net effect is you will sometimes pay a smaller rake relative to most site when playing $1/$2 games and up.
Player Traffic
CasinoRoom.com players are often popping in to Poker Room, contributing to the 4,000 plus players around peak hours. This, along with players from other skins like Eurobet, EruoPoker and Hollywood Poker, brings a lot of action that experienced players can benefit from.
Playability
Texas Holdem, Omaha, and 7 Card Stud are the only games running at Poker Room, but if those are games you like, you are in for a good time. Hold'em is king, of course, but there is limited variety for the other two games. The user interface is smooth with logical navigation throughout the site, and both the downloadable and non download versions run clean.
Other Features

The Pokah forums are a great place to spend time with like-minded poker players, either learning new stratagems, keeping up with Poker Room's events, or just shooting the breeze. There is a Poker School section of the site with plenty of articles on improving your game, Gift Vouchers for getting pals set up with Poker Room, and the No Download Required software opens up the playing field to anyone with an internet connection and a browser.

One nifty feature occurs when players are all in during a tournament. Once their cards are turned face up each player's win percentages are displayed and updated until the hand is finished.
